Loft Refurbishment, Kensington, SW7 London

Project Description:

We undertook a full refurbishment of a 130 sqr metre studio loft apartment in Kensington, SW7. The studio boasted original exposed brick, large solid wood windows and plenty of room for additional installations.

Starting with the strip out, as is common with full refurbishments, the loft was brought to its bar bones.

The original wood flooring was almost intact, so despite requests to replace the floor, we had our flooring experts bring it back to new and give it a perfect polished finish.

The original brickwork was dry washed, removing grime and discolouring from years of battering. It was then covered with a protective coat which also brought out the colour in the brick.

We then proceeded to install a new studio kitchen and adjacent bathroom, all specifically chosen and done to keep the space open. Followed by a professional decorating finish, the studio loft glowed with a trendy, young feel.
