Clapham, London - Building Extension and Pool Installation

Project Description:

Construction of a new single story horseshoe shaped rear extension (approx 90m sq), creating two new bedrooms, new bathroom with sunken bath, dining area and large pool/spa room with mechanically operated pool cover that doubles as a floor when lowered, new wet sauna and central patio area with wet/dry tiled pond.

Not being a traditional house extension project; after the initial foundations were dug and the full extension layout done, we brought in the pool base. Weighing 2 tons and requiring a 50 meter crane to lift it over the building into its location, the pool fit within 2cm of the dig area.
